Cobb County Watershed Stewardship Program has partnered with the Water Efficiency Program, Keep Cobb Beautiful, and the Natural Resources Unit of Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs to recognize schools that offer environmental education programming for their students.  We also encourage teachers to bring activities that offer ecological enrichment and appreciation for the natural world into their classroom.  Those that participate are called Green Teachers and as the number of Green Teachers in each school grows, the school can become a Green School.
