Watershed Stewardship Program staff provide free outreach and field trip programs for classrooms and community groups in Cobb County.  Our age-specific programs are correlated to Georgia Performance Standards and teach participants about a variety of ecological topics, including water quality, non-point source pollution prevention, and aquatic habitats.  All of our classroom programs can be incorportated into your Green School certification.     

We also offer:

• Hands-on resource kits, available for checkout, that contain complete lessons about various topics including the water cycle, macroinvertebrates, groundwater pollution, non-point source pollution and water chemistry.

• Educator workshops, where K-12 educators can earn PLU credits while learning the latest in ecological education.

• The Brooke and Branch Puppet Show for 3rd Grade.

• Stewardship Grants and assistance with community service projects.
