The Cobb County Watershed Stewardship Program provides participants the opportunity to join others interested in learning about the watershed they live in.  We offer a variety of programs designed to help people learn how to improve local water quality through hands-on activities appropriate for all ages.  All of our public programs are free to participants.

We offer volunteer opportunities in the following areas:

• Assess the health of your waterway through chemical monitoring, biological monitoring, and physical monitoring.

• Identify local amphibian populations through frog monitoring.

• Educate your neighbors about the hazards of non-point source pollutants through stormdrain marking.

• You’re the solution – coordinate a waterway cleanup for your group or join an existing cleanup.
